Punjab Governor Chaudhry Sarwar on Sunday said that bilateral ties and friendship between Pakistan and Turkey is exemplary as people both the countries are bound in strong religious and cultural bonds.
“Pakistan is safe country for everyone, especially for the tourists.” Punjab Governor Ch Sarwar stated this during a ceremony hosted in honour of actors of Turkish Drama, Ertugrul Ghazi, Turgut Alp, Bamsi Bey and Sulejan Khatoon and later talking to the media at an art and culture exhibition.

Speaking on the occasion, the Punjab Governor said that the opposition is daydreaming to send the government packing, adding that opposition parties and Maulana Fazlur Rehman had staged protest against the government, but the government was still intact.
He said that it was the democratic and the constitutional right of the PTI Government to complete its constitutional term, adding that the opposition parties should respect the people’s mandate.
He advised the opposition to wait for General Elections instead of staging protest against the government.
Chaudhry Sarwar said that the government’s decision to call the joint session of the Parliament on the issue of electoral reforms is justifiable, adding that opposition should also support the government in electoral reforms for making electoral process transparent in future.
He urged the opposition not to create hurdles in overseas Pakistanis’ right to vote, adding that democracy will be strengthened in the country by giving them right to vote.
While addressing a ceremony in honour of Turkish actors, he said that it is need of the hour that the Muslims should forge unity among their ranks.
He said that unless the Muslims are united, it is not possible to end the atrocities against the Kashmiris and the Palestinians.
He appreciated Tayyup Erodagan and Turkish people for raising voice for Kashmiri and Palestinian people.

Meanwhile, two courses on performance audit cycle reporting phase and report writing process in performance auditing were successfully conducted by Directorate General Performance Audit wing Lahore virtually via zoom under the umbrella of Auditor General of Pakistan which were attended by 30 officers across the country.
Performance audit (PA) examines matters of economy efficiency and effectiveness auditors must issue audit reports communicating the results of each completed performance audit.
After attending the course, the participant will be in a better position to make effective reports which are primary in nature and pivotal in practice therefore course was designed keeping in views these objectives.
The purpose of these courses was to enhance the report writing skills of participants in the regime of performance auditing these courses catered all the aspects of reporting i.e. stages of performance audit report.
Its reporting process creating high impact PARs form and content of a PAR and preparation & approval of the final par template and segments of performance audit report were well defined understanding of tools and segments of performance audit report were well defined understanding of tools and techniques used during preparation of performance audit report were well elaborated in these courses.
Moreover, a detailed discussion was made regarding issues faced by audited faced by audited entity and incorporating their view point in the final report.
In the present challenging environment unless the issues of public service delivery are addressed the report may not fulfil the demands of our stakeholders (parliament. PAC public donor etc.)
therefore efforts were made to trainee the participants to produce comprehensive audit report courses were developed to quench public service delivery related issues for stake holders the training module comprehensively covered all the important arise of report writing till the approval of final audit report.
