Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif says Pakistan and Saudi Arabia stand proudly together at all times and on all occasions.
In a tweet Sunday, the Prime Minister has recalled his meeting with Minister for Defence of Saudi Arabia Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud who was Guest of honour at the Pakistan Day parade in Islamabad. “Pakistan and Saudi Arabia stand together proudly at all times and on all occasions,” he added.
The Prime Minister expressed his delight over meeting the visiting Saudi dignitary and said he conveyed his warm wishes to the Saudi King and Crown Prince. Shehbaz Sharif said he also congratulated the Saudi Defence Minister on receiving Pakistan’s highest civil award ‘Nishan-e-Imtiaz’ for his invaluable contribution in strengthening Pak-Saudi fraternal ties.
“Congratulated him on receiving the country’s highest civil award “Nishan-i-Pakistan” for his invaluable contribution to further strengthening Pak-SA fraternal ties,” the prime minister posted on his X account.
Meanwhile, Defence Minister of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud on Sunday said that he met with Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and reviewed robust relations between the two countries and ways to bolster them.
On his X account he said “We also discussed recent regional and international developments and efforts to promote peace.” He also conveyed the greetings of Saudi leadership.
