Malaysia and Pakistan are enjoying years of strong, friendly bilateral relations and this partnership will grow further in future as recently, there has been considerable increase in people-to-people (p-to-p) and business-to-business (b-to-b) exchanges between the two countries. These views were shared by Edi-tor-in-Chief of Pakistan Observer, Faisal Zahid Malik who called on the Counsel General (CG) of Ma-laysia Herman Hardynate Ahmad in Karachi at his office. Faisal Zahid Malik briefed the CG of Malaysia about Pakistan Observer and told that the newspaper had always advocated strong, cor-dial relations with Malaysia as the country has contributed to Paki-stan’s economy by offering business and education opportunities to the Pakistani traders and students.
The Malaysian CG while expressing gratitude to the CEO of Paki-stan Observer noted that both the countries had been cooperating in key areas of nation-building, culture and tourism, defence& security, education, economy, trade, health, human resource and capacity building, parliamentary and people-to-people contacts.
Our ties continue to flourish with bilateral trade reaching new heights, benefiting both the nations. Malaysia’s palm oil industry has found a conducive market in Pakistan, he added.
