ISLAMABAD  –  The social media and Internet users across Pakistan continued to experience significant difficulties with internet services.

While the internet remained operational, its speed has persistently decreased, and the data services, in particular, are facing disruptions.

The disruptions caused serious trouble to the businesses.

The situation has been compounded by the outage of WhatsApp, a crucial communication tool.

The disruption is affecting both individuals and businesses, with citizens reporting that their rights are being compromised and the state is facing financial losses as a result.

The impact on internet services is causing complications in online transportation and business transactions.

The users are also protesting the blockage of social media platforms, viewing it as a barrier to freedom of expression.

The citizens are calling on the government to prioritize personal freedom over the suspension of social media platforms, arguing that the internet shutdown is not only causing severe communication issues but also damaging the government’s international reputation.

Despite multiple inquiries, Pakistan Telecommunication has not issued a statement regarding the ongoing issues with internet services.
