The nursing staff at Lahore’s Jinnah Hospital on Tuesday went on strike to press the government to accept their demands, paralyzing the whole health facility amid raging third wave of coronavirus.
Rejecting the newly appointed board of governors, the nurses protested the non-issuance of their promotion letters by Hospital Director Seemi Jamali.
The healthcare delivery came to a standstill in the whole hospital due to the strike of the nurses who stopped work.
in almost all departments including the vaccination centres.
