Baqai Medical University hosted a special convocation at the Governor’s House, chaired by Governor Sindh Muhammad Kamran Khan Tessori. The ceremony was attended by consul generals from various countries, vice chancellors, prominent industrialists, traders, and other dignitaries.
During the event, notable individuals were awarded honorary doctorates for their distinguished services. Governor Kamran Khan Tessori received an honorary doctorate from The MehmoodKaat International University, Niger, presented by the university’s Rector, Dr. Ibrahim. Governor Tessori also honored Pakistan’s Ambassador to Niger, Dr. Ahmed Ali Sirohey, with a gold medal for his efforts in enhancing Pakistan’s image in Niger through diplomatic and economic outreach despite limited resources.
In addition, prominent businessmen RehanMahtabChawla and Shahbaz Ali Malik were awarded honorary doctorates for their exceptional achievements in business and exports. The consuls general of Turkey and Qatar, CemalSangu and NayefShahein R.M. Sulaiti, respectively, received honorary doctorates for their outstanding diplomatic contributions. Governor Tessori and Bukhari Medical University Chancellor Dr. ShoaibBukhari also presented gold medals to other distinguished figures in recognition of their achievements. The Governor congratulated all the recipients, expressing hope that they would continue their commendable work in the future.
