Niger, Sindh govt disuss trade, investment issues

Niger Delegation headed by Mr. Gado Sabo Moctar, Cabinet Minister for Commerce, Industries & entrepreneurship visited Karachi and met JaamIkramullahDhareejo,  Minister for Industries & Commerce and Officials of Investment Board, Government of Sindh on June 21, 2021.

The Niger Minister said, Pakistan and Niger can work together to import & export agricultural equipment, seed, medicines and share expertise to grow their business.

“It is my first visit to Pakistan, I saw great potential of investment here, delegation from Sindh should also visit Niger to improve bilateral trade relations” Mr. Gado added.

JaamIkramullahDhareejo said Sindh province has a lot of investment potential mostly in agriculture and textile industry.

Ali Ahmed Sirohey, Pakistani ambassador at Niger also briefed the delegation about the Business & Investment opportunities in Sindh province and said, Hyderabad, the second largest city of Sindh is the Hub of motorcycle producing. Niger can also buy life saving drugs from Karachi, Pakistan.

ZakariWargoBoubacar, Niger Cabinet Minister for Investment, Mr. AbdoulayeBoubacar, DG Niger development Industry,  Mr. Bana Boureima, 2nd Vice President of Niger Chamber of Commerce and Industries, Mr. Salim Sabo Moctar, Niger Businessman, Muhammad Ali Chandana, MD Saif Pharmaceutical PVT Ltd. Choudhry Zafar Mehmood, Chairman Pakistan Africa Business Council FPCCI, Mr. Ibrahim bin Maqsood, CEO Biomed Pakistan, Secretary Investment Board Sindh Mr. Zahid Ali Abbasi were also present in the meetings.

MrDharejo and officials of Sindh Government presented Ajraks to the Niger delegation, Mr. Gado Sabo also presented the souvenir to Sindh Government’s representatives.
