Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Supremo and former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif returned home after a week-long visit to China, the sources close to him confirmed on Tuesday.
The sources said that Nawaz Sharif held discussions with the Chinese companies’ heads during his visit and explored the investment prospects in Pakistan, especially in Punjab—the province where his daughter Maryam Nawaz is the chief minister.
“The Chinese companies were invited to invest in Punjab,” said the sources.
The PML-N supremo, they said, also held meetings with the individuals close to Chinese President XI during his six-day visit.
