Governor, CM will join people at Faisal Chowk

Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar has said the whole nation will come out today (Friday) to show solidarity with the Kashmiris and a strong show of love and affection will be exhibited.
CM Buzdar said, “It is regrettable that the world is a silent spectator to the burning of Occupied Kashmir”. Pakistan cannot remain silent on Indian cruelties against the Kashmiris, he added and asserted that the Modi government will have to bear the consequences of the blunder of revoking special status of Kashmir.
He regretted that India has continuously deprived the Kashmiris of their fundamental rights and people are even deprived of medicines and essential items due to prolonged curfew. Obstinate India has made lives of lakhs of people hell with its stubborn approach, he added. He said the people of Occupied Kashmir have rendered sacrifices for their freedom and their struggle will soon be materialized. Usman Buzdar said that sham democracy of the Modi government has been fully exposed adding that no one can isolate Kashmir from Pakistan as our lives and deaths and joys and happiness are common.
A high-level meeting was held at Governor’s House which was jointly chaired by Chief Minister Usman Buzdar and Governor Ch. Muhammad Sarwar. The meeting reviewed arrangements of expressing solidarity with the Kashmiris today (Friday) and it was decided that complete solidarity will be expressed with the Kashmiri people in the whole of the province at 12:00 Noon. The people will be gathered at Faisal Chowk, Regal Chowk and Civil Secretariat Chowk in Lahore and Chief Minister and Governor Punjab will join them at Faisal Chowk.
The Pakistani and Kashmiri anthems will be aired. Similarly, people will also gather at divisional headquarters, districts and tehsils at 12:00 noon and students will also observe the Kashmir Solidarity Day with full fervour. Rallies will be held after Jumma prayers in which a large number of people will take part. Chief Minister Usman Buzdar said the whole nation will show solidarity with the Kashmiris against Indian torture and aggression. He appealed to the nation to take an active part in Kashmir Solidarity Day celebrations to give a strong message that Kashmiris are not alone and the whole of Pakistan is standing with them.
Ch. Sarwar said that strong voice will be raised against Indian atrocities and the case of Kashmir will be fought at every fora. Provincial ministers Muhammad Basharat Raja, Mian Aslam Iqbal, Nazir Ahmed Chauhan MPA, chief secretary, IG police, administrative secretaries and others attended the meeting.
Special Assistant to Prime Minister for Overseas Pakistanis Syed Zulfiqar Bukhari called on Chief Minister Usman Buzdar at Governor’s House on Thursday. Both strongly condemned the illegal and unconstitutional step of continuous lockdown and Indian brutalities in Occupied Kashmir and expressed their complete solidarity with the Kashmiri brethren. While talking on the occasion, Usman Buzdar said that Pakistan and Kashmir are conjoined twins and Pakistan is incomplete without Kashmir. The hearts of Pakistanis and Kashmiris beat together and all our sympathies are with the Kashmiris.
We will not let the Kashmiris at the mercy of the Indian government, he said. He regretted that Indian government has written a new history of barbarity and savagery by committing unbearable brutalities in Occupied Kashmir. Humanity has taken the last breath in Occupied Kashmir, he added. He said that the international community should raise voice against human rights violations adding that night of cruelties is coming to an end and the freedom-sun will soon rise in Occupied Kashmir. The chief minister reiterated the commitment that diplomatic, moral and political support to Kashmiris will be continued.
He asked the people to come out on Friday to show solidarity with the Kashmiris. Zulfiqar Bukhari said that strong voice will be raised in Pakistan and other countries of the world for the Kashmiris adding that Prime Minister Imran Khan has presented the Kashmir case in a befitting and logical manner. People from different cities will show solidarity with the Kashmiris and the sacrifices rendered by the Kashmiri people will soon materialize, he added.
