Special Assistant to Punjab Chief Minister on Information (SACM) Hassan Khawar on Tuesday declared that the nation knows well how the Sharif family looted and plundered the national resources and now Maryam Nawaz was making a futile effort to befool the nation.
“It seems that Nawaz Sharif reduced his platelets by starving in solidarity with the public problems and woes.”
Special Assistant to Punjab Chief Minister on Information (SACM) Hassan Khawar was responding to the criticism by PML-N Spokesperson Maryam Aurangzeb.
The spokesperson to the Punjab government said that facts should always be remembered before criticizing the government as the performance of the government remained excellent despite corona pandemic.
“The PTI government took unprecedented steps to cater for the needs of the lower strata of the society and overcome economic difficulties caused by the Corona pandemic.”
Hassan Khawar pointed out that the Ehsaas programme under which 290 public welfare programmes have been initiated, is alone sufficient to shut the mouth of the opposition.
The SACM said that under Ehsaas programme, Rs12,000 is being provided to registered families and under Ehsaas interest-free loan programme small business loans are being issued to business community in more than 100 districts of the country.
He further said since July 2019 to till date, 15,000 loans have been issued worth amounting to more than Rs53 billion.
Hassan Khawar said that 512 Ehsaas registration desks are providing facilities throughout the country and the whole system is being monitored in a latest scientific manner to maintain transparency.
While on the other hand just to remind the opposition their Sasti Roti Scheme was sufficient as hotels located mostly in posh areas were registered to give them benefits.
Meanwhile, Punjab Minister Human Rights and Minority Affairs Ijaz Alam Augustine expressed solidarity with the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir facing gross human rights violations for the last 74 years.
In his statement, Minister said each year October 27 is observed to mark protest and resentment by Kashmiris around the world in commemorating the forced occupation of the valley by the Indian occupation forces.
The minister said Kashmiris want their legitimate right to self-determination in line with the United Nations Security Council resolutions.
The minister further said Pakistan would continue to extend its diplomatic morale and political support to the people of occupied Jammu and Kashmir and PM Imran Khan always presented the case of IOJK before the world community and highlighted the atrocities being committed there in every forum of the world.
