Unidentified assailants riding a bike, gunned down a youth coming for a court hearing in Model Town Kutchehry.
According to police and eye-witnesses, the youth identified as Anjum Masih, was shot dead outside the court complex.
“He was coming to a court for hearing of a murder case against him,” the police said and added that before entering the court, two men on a motorbike opened fire at him.
” Anjum Masih sustained four bullets and died on the spot. The suspects managed to flee the scene.
The police shifted the dead body to Lahore General Hospital for a post-mortem examination and launched further investigation.
The police cordoned off the crime scene and were questioning witnesses about the incident.
