Missing Vietnamese Ambassador’s Wife located safe in Islamabad’s F-9 Park

ISLAMABAD – Nguyen Tien Phong, the wife of the Vietnamese Ambassador to Pakistan, who was reported missing, was found in Mega Zone in Islamabad’s F-9 park on Saturday.

Islamabad police started the operation after the ambassador reported that his wife left their residence at 11 am and had not returned.

Capital City police said the wife of the Vietnamese envoy was located from Mega Zone, an amusement centre in F-9 park in Islamabad. She left residence after a dispute between with his husband. Following the report, Islamabad police initiated an investigation, utilizing CCTV footage from Safe City cameras to track the missing woman’s movements.

Special teams were assigned for investigation and operational divisions, with DIG Operations and SSP Operations overseeing the inquiry.

The news raised concerns as several unwanted incidents were reported in Islamabad’s F9 Park and surroundings. Some fake policemen even robbed a foreign national woman in the F-6 Supermarket.
