Federal Education Minister Shafqat Mehmood and Punjab Minister for Local Government and Community Development Mian Mehmoodur Rasheed accompanied by PTI leaders – Basharat Khokhar, Zeeshan Siddiqui and Rana Shaheryar inspected developmental projects completed in Bhakewal Pind Allama Iqbal Town here on Sunday.
Shafqat Mehmood and Mian Mehmoodur Rasheed also addressed a ceremony organized in this connection.
Speaking on the occasion, Shafqat Mehmood and Mian Mehmoodur Rasheed said that development projects worth Rs100 million have been completed in the area.
Sui gas and sewerage pipelines have been laid whereas inner streets have also been constructed, adding that installation of streetlights in the area would also start soon.
They said that provision of basic amenities to the people of the area is the top priority of the government.
They further disclosed that a separate tube-well for supplying water to Bhakewal Pind and water filtration plant for clean water are also being installed.
The incumbent government has fulfilled its promises made with the people of the area.
Provision of basic facilities to the people according to the vision of PM Imran Khan and Punjab CM Sardar Usman Buzdar, is the top priority of the present government.
On the occasion, the residents of Bhakewal Pind expressed gratitude to the Shafqat Mehmood and Main Mehmoodur Rasheed over the completion of the developmental work in the area.
They said that they are grateful to the minister for carrying out record developmental work in the area.
