Provincial Minister for Local Government Mian Mehmood-ul-Rashid has expressed a strong reaction to Imran Khan’s arrest warrant and said that he strongly condemned that decision of the Election Commission of Pakistan. He said that Imran Khan was the head of the biggest political party of Pakistan and he had always respected the courts and national institutions.
Mian Mehmood-ul-Rashid further said that the decision of the Election Commission had hurt democratic spirit and it seemed that the Chief Election Commissioner had become a personal servant of the Sharif family.
He said, “such decisions had already made the Chief Election Commissioner, who is now targeting Imran Khan for revenge on the intention of the corrupt gang.”
The minister said that the undemocratic tactics of Election Commission and PDM were increasing the public popularity of Imran Khan.
