An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) on Tuesday sent the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI’s) RubinaJameel in case relating attack on police vehicles during May 9 vandalism.
After hearing case related to May 09 riots and vandalism, including the arson of police vehicles, the ATC sent former MNA RubinaJameel to jail on a 14-day judicial remand.
The ATC directed the relevant authorities to produce the accused before the court on November 07.
The suspects of the May 9 riots had earlier moved the Supreme Court to proceed with the trial in Military courts. As per details, the plea was filed by nine suspects of May 9 violence who are still in military custody urging the top court that they should be tried in military courts.
