Pakistan Muslim League (N) Senior Vice President and Chief Organizer Maryam Nawaz Sharif met Australian High Commissioner to Pakistan Neil Hawkins at Jati Umra. Maryam Nawaz Sharif welcomed Australian High Commissioner Neil Hawkins on arrival. In the meeting, matters of mutual interest were discussed between both of them.
Maryam Nawaz appreciated the role of Australia in educating Pakistani students. She said that Pakistan seeks bilateral cooperation in various fields including education, culture, trade and investment. She said that the promotion of bilateral trade can lead to further strengthening of the relationship between the two countries, joint activities in sports including cricket can provide a better environment for the youth. Both countries should take advantage of the wide possibilities of cooperation in the fields of trade and tourism. Maryam Nawaz Sharif said that Pakistan and Australia have had a historic partnership and Pakistan values Australia’s role in educating Pakistani students.
She said Pakistan wants bilateral cooperation in various fields including education, culture, trade and investment. Maryam Nawaz Sharif thanked Australia for its humanitarian assistance to Pakistan during the Corona epidemic Australian High Commissioner Neil Hawkins congratulated Maryam Nawaz Sharif on getting the party post. The High Commissioner of Australia thanked Maryam Nawaz Sharif for giving time for the meeting.
