A man shot dead his wife over not picking up his phone call in Mandi Bahauddin on Monday, the police confirmed.
According to police officials, the accused, who was out of home, called her wife but she did not pick up. As soon as, he returned home, he ran into argument with his wife. In the meanwhile, he pulled out a pistol and shot her dead on the spot. The police officials said that his 16-year-old son was also injured rescuing his mother.
He has been shifted to a nearby hospital.
The suspect fled the scene after committing the crime. The police will nab him very soon, the official added.
