ISLAMABAD – Malaysian Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Anwar bin Ibrahim on Wednesday officially landed in Islamabad for three-day visit, and he was welcomed by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif at Noor Khan Airbase.
The visiting dignitary was welcomed by a high-level delegation that includes Ministers, Deputy Ministers, and senior officials. He will stay in Asian nation till October 4, and is set to focus on enhancing bilateral relations between Malaysia and Pakistan.
During his stay, Prime Minister Ibrahim will hold crucial meetings with Pakistani leadership, addressing a comprehensive agenda aimed at strengthening ties in various sectors. Key topics for discussion will include trade, connectivity, energy, agriculture, the Halal industry, tourism, cultural exchanges, and initiatives to foster people-to-people connections.
In addition to these discussions, the leaders will also address significant regional and global developments. This visit presents a pivotal opportunity for both nations to solidify their longstanding friendship and explore new avenues for collaboration.
