The Lahore Waste Management Company arranged 119th Board of Directors meeting with its Chairman Amjad Ali Awan in the chair on Friday. LWMC CEO Rafia Haider and other board members attended the meeting.
During the meeting, the BoD approved the agenda regarding security issues and outsourcing of 130 security guards.
The LWMC board also approved the hiring of GM vigilance to set the standard of monitoring and enforcement of Local Government Act.
The LWMC CEO also presented Eid cleanliness plan which was also approved by the board members. The LWMC chairman informed the board members that compost plant project has been re-activated on emergency basis to convert waste into energy purposes.
The participants were informed that outsourcing of security guards has been made on low prices as per allocated budget.
Procurement of new vehicles have been completed in compliance with PPRA Rules to make it most transparent transaction.
Amjad Ali Awan lauded the contribution of all board members to re-organize and strengthen LWMC. He directed effective monitoring of the Eid plan.
The LWMC CEO said that in previous month company has strengthened compliant management department to ensure having lowest numbers of complaints.
LWMC is going to introduce a digitalize system of monitoring where every stock, spare parts, vehicles and other substances will be on automated system.
