LESCO speeds up recovery drive

Lahore Electric Supply Company has sped up its recovery campaign against dead defaulters. The eight circles of LESCO spent Saturday as a recovery day and all the officials and staff took steps to make recovery drive a success.
SE CentralM Naeem along with DCM Waseem Iqbal and DDT visited Township Division. They reviewed the recovery drive and held meetings with XENs and SDOs of Civil Lines, Shahpur and Samanabad divisions.
LESCO spokesman said that the LESCO surveillance teams on the directives of Chief Executive Officer Mujahid Pervez had started an active drive against power stealers. In addition, he said that LESCO also focused on charging detection bills to electricity pilferers and recovery of dues from the dead defaulters of the company.
The company was fully committed for complete elimination of the menace of electricity theft, he resolved.
