LAHORE – The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) continued operations against illegal commercial use in Lahore.
On Monday, the LDA teams sealed 18 businesses on Multan Road for not paying commercialization fees. The sealed premises include furniture shop, paint shops and workshops. LDA Chief Town Planner-I Assad-uz-Zaman supervised the operation which was carried out by the enforcement teams with the help of Police.
As per the LDA officials, several notices were served to these buildings’ owners before carrying out the operation.
LDA Director General Tahir Farooq has directed continuing indiscriminate operations against illegal commercial use in Lahore.
