LAHORE – The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) continued operations against illegal commercial use in Lahore.
On Friday, the LDA teams sealed 14 premises in New Garden Town for not paying commercialization fees. The sealed premises include American Lycetuff, private bank, food outlets and private offices.
Director Town Planning Zone Sidra Tabassum supervised the operation which was carried out with the help of enforcement teams and Police.
As per the LDA officials, several notices were served to these buildings’ owners before carrying out the operation.
LDA Director General Tahir Farooq has directed continuing indiscriminate operations against violation of building and parking bylaws, encroachments and illegal commercial use in Lahore.
