LAHORE – The Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) conducts tests, examinations and interviews for recruitment to such provincial services and posts connected with the affairs of the Punjab province.
It also facilitate the government in recruitment for such posts in or under a Corporation or other body or organization set up by the provincial government under any law.
After the vacancies are advertised, candidates are required to submit their application online through PPSC, which later issues roll number and conduct the test or exam for the advertised vacancy.
To appear in PPSC tests, the candidates have to meet the requirements such as bringing the ID card and completing the paper within given time period.
However, the PPSC has taken some major decision to facilitate the candidates in the upcoming exams.
Update on Extra Time in PPSC Exams
Reports said the commission has decided to grant extra time to candidates with disabilities in exams.
Candidates with disabilities will be given extra time of 15 minutes to complete the exam lasting 1 hour and 30 minutes while additional 30 minutes will be allotted for 3-hour exams.
Update of ID Card Requirement
Previously, the candidates were required to bring the ID card to appear in exams. However, in latest decision, candidates who do not have CNIC can bring domicile to take the test.
Furthermore, candidates whose ID cards expired six months ago would be allowed to appear in exams under certain conditions.
