LAHORE – More intermittent rains and gusty winds are predicted in Lahore and parts of Punjab on Friday night and Saturday.
Per the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), weak monsoon currents from the Arabian Sea penetrate upper/central parts of Pakistan.
Under these weather conditions, rains and gusty winds are predicted at isolated places in Murree, Galliyat, Rawalpindi, Attock, Chakwal, Talagang, Mianwali, Jhelum, Sialkot, Narowal, Mandi Bahauddin, Gujrat, Gujranwala, Hafizabad and Lahore on Friday night.
On Saturday, more intermittent rains and gusty winds are predicted at isolated places in Murree, Galliyat, Rawalpindi, Attock, Chakwal, Talagang, Jhelum, Sialkot, Narowal, Mandi Bahauddin, Gujrat, Gujranwala, Hafizabad, Lahore, Kasur, Okara, Faisalabad, Dera Ghazi Khan and Bahawalnagar. Hot and humid weather is expected elsewhere in the province.
Lahore’s maximum temperature will likely remain between 36-38°C on Saturday and 37-39°C on Sunday.
Meanwhile, rain-wind/thunderstorms occurred in Lahore and parts of Punjab during the last 24 hours. Hot and humid weather prevailed elsewhere in the province.

Bahawalpur and Attock remained the hottest places in the province where the maximum temperature was recorded at 43°C. Maximum temperature in Multan, Dera Ghazi Khan and Sargodha was recorded at 41°C.
In Lahore, maximum temperature was recorded at 38°C. Relative humidity in the evening was recorded at 88 per cent.
