Caretaker Minister Information and Public Relations Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Barrister Feroze Jamal Shah Kakakhel Wednesday claimed that the KP government has made all out efforts to provide a level playing field to all candidates participating in the election.
Highlighting the comprehensive efforts undertaken by the caretaker government, Barrister Kakakhel emphasized that every necessary resource has been deployed to ensure administrative efficiency and security throughout the electoral process. Notably, the Federal Interior Minister and Interior Secretary conducted a thorough review meeting, expressing satisfaction with the arrangements made for the elections. Chief Secretary Nadeem Aslam Chaudhry and Inspector General of Police Akhtar Hayat Khan also personally inspected the preparations on the ground.
In anticipation of the voting day on February 8, Barrister Kakakhel urged citizens to fulfill their national duty by casting their votes in a transparent and impartial environment. He particularly addressed the youth, urging them to play an active role in shaping the future of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa through responsible voting.
Regarding security measures, Barrister Kakakhel assured that robust arrangements have been implemented, including the formation of an emergency response force and heightened vigilance by health and rescue departments. He underscored the government’s commitment to maintaining peace and order, noting swift action against any attempts to disrupt the electoral process. He said a group of people tried to disrupt the peaceful environment in Karak district which was prevented and no one will be allowed to repeat the 9th May incident.
