KP free ration for poor families

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has launched Insaf Food Card to provide food to the people of lower wages in the province and 50 million households will be benefitted from this scheme.

Under the scheme, households earning less than Rs. 25,000 per month will be provided cash for the purchase of basic necessities. Deserving families will be given Rs. 2100 per month through Insaf Food Card Scheme.

Chief Minister KPK Mahmood Khan has said that 1 million families will get the benefit from this scheme. —INP
