Karachi Rain Update as new weather system enters Pakistan

Pakistan’s financial caital Karachi is currently facing intense heat, with temperatures hitting over 40°C while humid condition further intensify oppressive weather.

Met Office shared new prediction, with chances of isolated rainfall later in the evening or night. Winds from the northwest are moving at 13 km/h, and the absence of sea breeze is aggravating the heatwave conditions.

PMD, in its latest advisory, said hot and humid weather is expected in Sindh while rains are expected at isolated places in Karachi, Sukkur, Shikarpur, Shaheed Benazirabad, Hyderabad, Tharparkar, Umarkot, Mithia, Mirpur Khas and Sanghar.

The residents of port city will experience second spell of monsoon from July 19 or 20. Monsoon winds will said to be making their way into Sindh, bringing some relief, particularly in rural regions.

Westerly winds are also anticipated on Thursday and Friday, possibly influencing the weather patterns.
