KARACHI – Karachi Board on Thursday announced revised schedule for intermediate examinations.
As per the revised schedule, the intermediate exams will start from June 1 and end on July 1.
Board of Intermediate Education Karachi introduced the schedule for around 290,000 students who will appear in the exams, Science group exams will be conducted in the morning from 9 am to 12 pm, while general group exams will be held in the afternoon from 2 pm to 5 pm.
BIEK Chairman announced that Intermediate Examinaitons 2024 will start from June 1, ruling out the possibility of beginning them on May 28. He explained that it was not practical to conduct matric and intermediate exams simultaneously at the same centers.

Earlier, board officials urged four-day extension for exams from the education minister. Originally, intermediate exams were to be held in the morning, while matric exams were scheduled for the evening.
The intermediate exams dates were changed in Sindh for five days in wake of ongoing heatwave.
