In order to effectively respond to dangerous situations, a two-day ‘First-aid Training for Journalists’ organized by Media and Communication department of Pakistan Red Crescent Society concluded at a local hotel here in the provincial capital.
A large number of journalists from different parts of Balochistan including Quetta, Zhob, Dalbandin, Chagi, Chaman, Duki, Harnai and Pishin, attended the training, where they were trained during the session.
Media and Communication Officer PCRS Naseebullah Malik in his welcome remarks gave a briefed introduction of Red Cross and Red Crescent and highlighted the role of PRCS and ICRC.
‘PRCS has been serving by providing emergency and disaster relief besides rehabilitation, healthcare and other facilities since its establishment in every nook and corner of the country’.
