Pakistan earned $1,688.862 million by providing different information technology (IT) services in various countries during the first eight months (July-February) of the current financial year 2021-22.
This shows a growth of 29.90 percent as compared to $1,300.1 million earned through provision of services during the corresponding period of fiscal year 2020-21, Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS) reported.
During July-February (2021-22), the export of computer services grew by 32.06 percent as it surged from $1,024.830 million last fiscal year to US $1,353.372 million this year.
