Isolated rains, gusty winds expected in Karachi, coastal areas of Sindh

KARACHI – Isolated rains and gusty winds are expected in Karachi and coastal areas of Sindh on Sunday night and Monday.

Per the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), continental air prevails over most parts of Pakistan. A shallow westerly wave prevails over western Balochistan and upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Under these weather conditions, isolated rains and gusty winds are expected in Karachi and coastal areas of Sindh on Sunday night and Monday. Hot and dry weather is expected elsewhere in the province.

Karachi’s maximum temperature will likely remain between 32-34°C on Monday and 33-35°C on Tuesday.

Hyderabad’s maximum temperature will likely remain between 35-37°C on Monday and 36-38°C on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, hot and dry weather prevailed in most districts of Sindh during the last 24 hours.

Dadu, Mohenjo-Daro and Nawabshah remained the hottest places in Sindh where the maximum temperature was recorded at 38°C.

In Karachi, maximum temperature was recorded at 32°C. Relative humidity in the evening was recorded at 63 per cent.

In Hyderabad, maximum temperature was recorded at 36°C. Relative humidity in the evening was recorded at 56 per cent.
