‘Insaf Sasta Mobile Shop’ program kicked off

Under the arrangements of District Administration, the “Insaf Sasta Mobile Shop” program has been formally inaugurated.

Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Ali checked quality and presence of rate lists of fruits and vegetables on loader Riksha and saw them off to different areas of the city.

Additional Deputy Commissioner General Khurram Pervez, Assistant Commissioner Saddr Umar Maqbool besides officers of Market Committee were also present.

Talking to media on the occasion, the DC said that Insaf Sasta Mobile Shop Program was a revolutionary initiative of Prime Minister Imran Khan, aims at providing vegetables and fruits to the citizens at their doorsteps at wholesale prices during the month of Ramazan.
In this regard 150 Insaf Sasta Mobile shops have been introduced.

He said that registration and branding of mobile shops has been done which will provide essential items at market rate and essential items will be available at lower rates from Sasta mobile shops as compared to the general market.

The Deputy Commissioner said that the vehicles would be parked at designated places in the city, geo-tagging of the vehicles would be done and the price magistrates would check the vehicles.

He informed that 19 Ramazan Bazaars are being set up and Insaf Sasta Shops are being set up outside 40 large mega marts of city where fruits, vegetables and wholesale items will be sold at discounted rates.

He said that in Ramazan, the process of providing quality products at lower rates as compared to local market will be monitored completely.
