Indian troops kill 3 more youth in Chhattisgarh

Indian forces’ personnel killed three more youth in the violence-hit Chhattisgarh state.According to Kashmir Media Service, the Indian paramilitary and police personnel killed the three youth during a search operation in Pujari Kanker forest area of Bijapur district of the state.

Three Naxalites were gunned down in an exchange of fire with paramilitary forces in a dense forest in Bijapur district bordering Telangana on Saturday, claimed a senior police official. A search operation is still underway in the area, he added.

Earlier this week, at least 13 Naxalites including three women were killed during a violent operation by Indian forces in the same Bijapur district of Chhattisgarh. Last week, three members of Naxalite were killed in a fake encounter by Indian paramilitary forces in the same district.

Naxalite, who belong to tribes and Dalit community and Communist Party of India (Marxist–Leninist) are demanding independence from Indian hegemony. They are active in different parts of Jharkhand, Bihar, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, West Bengal, Maharashtra and Andhra Pradesh.

A Naib Sobedar of Indian army died under suspicious circumstances in Arunachal Pradesh state in India.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the Naib Subedar Giriraj Prasad Yadav of the Indian Army died in Dibang sector of Arunachal Pradesh. However, the exact cause of his death was not immediately known.

The Indian Army’s Eastern Command announcing Yadav’s death in a post on X said it happened in the operational area of the Dibang sector.—KMS
