Leaders of All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Kashmir chapter Qazi Imran and Khalid Shabbir have strongly condemned the arrest of a mentally retarded persons from Azad Kashmir who mistakenly crossed over to occupied Jammu and Kashmir, by the Indian authorities.
The disabled youth, Zeeshan, from Hajira, AJK had crossed the Line of Control by mistake into IIOJK a few days ago.
Qazi Imran and Khalid Shabbir in a statement issued in Islamabad said that Zeeshan is mentally retarded since childhood and urged the Indian army to hand over him to the authorities in Azad Kashmir, immediately.
The Hurriyat leaders appealed to the international community, including the United Nations, to play a role in bringing back the mentally handicapped Kashmiri youth.
