The cybercrime of Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), Lahore, in collaboration with the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) on Tuesday seized one illegal gateway exchange and arrested five suspects causing huge loss to Govt. Exchequer.
According to FIA sources, on a tip off, FIA and PTA jointly conducted a raid against an illegal gateways exchange runners in the city. Five suspects, running illegal gateways exchange, were arrested during the operation. Three laptops, one media convertor, four modem devices and others devices, Internet and SIMs were recovered from their possession.—INP
