Punjab Inspector General of Police Inam Ghani said that the ongoing development work in Police Officers Mess and Police Club should be completed as soon as possible in accordance with quality standards. “Construction activities for officers and personnel should be held on regular basis as per schedule.”
The IGP further said that Additional IG Welfare and Finance should complete projects under his supervision within the stipulated timeline and also carry out inspections and monitoring to review the quality of work.
He expressed these views while inspecting the ongoing development works at Police Officers Mess and Police Club on Shahra-e-Aiwan Chamber of Commerce and Industry today. Additional IG Welfare and Finance Azhar Hameed Khokhar and AIG Development Rana Tahir Rehman Khan were also present on the occasion.
Additional IG Welfare and Finance, Azhar Hameed Khokhar, while briefing IG Punjab about the ongoing renovation work, said that the police officers mess project would be instrumental in bringing the welfare activities of the force to fruitful execution.
IGP visited different parts of the mess and was briefed about the ongoing work. In the end, IGP Punjab also gave instructions on various issues to make the police mess functional as soon as possible.
