Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar has said that the best welfare of police employees and their families and timely solution of their problems is among the top priorities, all supervisory officers should ensure the immediate resolution of the applications and requests presented by the subordinate staff. IG Punjab, Dr. Usman Anwar, emphasized that the police force is like a family, and no effort should be spared in addressing the issues faced by the families of the employees, immediate action should be taken on all applications related to welfare, discipline, and recruitment to provide relief. He expressed these views during a meeting with police employees and their families at the Central Police Office today. IG Punjab issued orders to resolve the requests presented by police employees and their families.
IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar forwarded the application of Inspector Muhammad Akbar of Bahawalnagar for retirement on medical grounds a year ago to DIG Welfare Punjab for relief. Dr. Usman Anwar directed DIG Welfare to provide assistance for the treatment of Head Constable Mudassar Nazar’s kidney and liver disease. The request for the transfer of the junior clerk daughter of the martyred ASI Atta Muhammad’s by his mother from Lahore to Sargodha was forwarded to AIG Admin and Security. IG Punjab directed Additional IG Punjab to provide relief on the request of Sub-Inspector Imran Shehzad from Sargodha regarding the refixation of seniority.
The request from retired SP Rasheed Ahmad for the recruitment of his son as a junior clerk was forwarded to AIG Admin & security. IG Punjab directed DIG Establishment-II to provide relief on the application of ASI Mumtaz Ahmad for the recruitment of his son as a constable. On the request of Inspector Muhammad Shahid Nazir for promotion to DSP, IG Punjab instructed Additional IG Punjab to provide relief based on merit. The request for provision of scholarship by Traffic Police Assistant Mushtaq Ahmad was forwarded to DIG Welfare for relief.
