The process of promotion of officers and officials having merit, seniority and good professional record is continued speedily and during the year officers and officials of all ranges and districts have been promoted to next ranks.
According to the details, Establishment–I DIG Ashfaq Ahmad Khan while discussing about promotion told that as per the vision of IG Shoaib Dastagir, Addl: IGP Establishment B.A Nasir is ensuring every possible measures to speed up the process of departmental promotion of officers and officials and regular sessions of promotion boards have been held for promotion of ranks of DSP to head constables so that morale of the force serving on front line in corona lockdown and Ramazan may be enhanced and they may perform their duties of protection and service of public in better way.
According to the details, during the year, in promotion board sessions held at Central Police Office, around 88 inspectors have been promoted to DSPs, 123 sub inspectors have been promoted to ranks of inspectors whereas 86 traffic wardens have been promoted to ranks of senior traffic wardens whereas collectively 1112 sub inspectors and ASIs from all regions and districts have been given departmental promotion.
