RIYADH – The government of Pakistan has rolled out exciting incentives, including issuance of urgent passport for free of cost, for specific overseas Pakistanis residing in Saudi Arabia.
The incentives are available for those overseas who remit foreign exchange, through banking channels to Pakistan. The Pakistan Embassy in Saudi issues different types of Foreign Exchange Remittance Card (FERC) to them depending on the limit of amount they send to Pakistan through banking channels.
Categories of Cards alongwith amount of Remittance and incentives (duty credit at Airports) are given below:

Requirements to Obtain the FER Card
Following papers are required for obtaining above mentioned Cards:
Blank Remittance Book and Application Forms which can be obtained from the Welfare Wing of Embassy of Pakistan, Riyadh.
Photocopies of first 2 pages of valid passport.
Photocopy of valid Iqama.
Two photographs (1×1 inch).
Overseas Pakistanis are required to show original Bank Receipts (Vouchers) regarding remittance of foreign exchange to Pakistan to the official of Welfare Wing of the Embassy.
The applicants are issued FER Card ffter verification of bank receipts/vouchers and attestation of entries in the Remittance Book.
Who Can Get Urgent Passport Free of Cost?
As of March 2024 update, the holders of Golden, Golden plus and Platinum Cards can get urgent Passport from the Embassy, free of cost, under the incentive package.
Meanwhile, the urgent fee for 36-page passport with five-year validity stands at 140 Saudi Riyal while it is 252 and 336 Saudi Riyal for 72 and 100-page passports, respectively.
