Azad Jammu and Kashmir Prime Minister Chaudhry Anwar ul Haq has said that besides encouraging sports activities, the department of sports would provide all possible support in promoting sports at all levels across the State. While talking to a delegation led by All Azad Kashmir Hockey Association President Raja Mushtaq and Gulf Empire Chairperson Sardar Shahzeb, who called on him separately at Jammu Kashmir House in the federal metropolis on Sunday, the PM assured them that the government would provide all possible support for the promotion of sports in the AJK.
“ Sports are not only a source of entertainment but they help us to improve our physical and mental health, quality of life and wellbeing”, the PM said, adding that sports play a vital role in creating a healthy society.”Sports bring positive changes in young people and create an atmosphere of competition”, he said.—INP
