Son of Governor Punjab Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar has bagged a new honor in the British Politics.
Anas Sarwar- son of Governor Punjab has won the election of leader of the Scottish Labour Party.
Anas Sarwar is the first Muslim and Pakistani to become the leader of Scottish Labour Party.
According to details, Punjab Governor Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar tweeted on Saturday that his son Anas Sarwar has won the Scottish Labour Party’s election in the UK.
In the party election, Anas Sarwar was elected party leader with 57.56% of the votes. Anas Sarwar’s opponent Monica Lennon got 42.44 votes. Anas Sarwar defeated Lennon by 2500 votes.
Governor Punjab Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar extended best wishes for his son Anas Sarwar while Speaker Punjab Assembly Chaudhry Pervez Elahi and APTMA’s head Gohar Ijaz also congratulated Anas Sarwar on his success.
