Islamabad: After three consecutive winning sessions, the price of gold in Pakistan went down by Rs800 per tola on Friday.
According to the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association, the price of gold on Friday declined by Rs800 per tola and Rs686 per 10 grams to settle at Rs147,300 and Rs126,286, respectively.
In the four sessions, the price increased by Rs4200 per tola.
In the international market, the price declined by $20 per ounce to settle at $1,656 too.
It is important that gold rates in Pakistan are around Rs2,600 below the cost compared to the rate in the Dubai market.
Meanwhile, silver prices in the domestic market declined by Rs10 per tola and Rs8.58 per 10 grams to settle at Rs1,570 and Rs1,346.02.
