KARACHI – Gold prices in Pakistan plunged by Rs1,400 per tola in Pakistan as the precious commodity remained under pressure in domestic market.
According to Sarafa Association, the per tola 24-karat gold was traded at Rs239,600 while the price of 10-gram gold dipped by Rs1,201 to settle at Rs205,418.
In international market, the price of gold dropped by $11 to close at $2,297 per ounce.
Meanwhile the silver prices remained unchanged at Rs2,620 per tola and Rs2,246.22 per 10-gram.

A day earlier, the per tola price of 24-karat commodity dropped by Rs900 to settle at Rs241,000. The price of 10-gram gold decreased by Rs771 to close at Rs206,619.
