The Gilgit-Baltistan Police organized a 5 days Training session on “Criminal, Crime Scene Management and (GB) Crime analytics for Smart Policing” for GB Police officers.
The closing ceremony of the workshop was held at a local hotel in collaboration with the GB Police, UNDP and Punjab Information Technology Section on Friday.
Chief Justice Chief Court Justice Ali Baig attended the session as a special guest. Addressing the function, he said that Gilgit-Baltistan Police is honest but the investigation section needs to be improved. If the evidence in the investigation is based on facts then the accused cannot escape punishment.
I have an old relationship with the police, poor and traditional investigations acquit the accused. Such workshops are needed to enhance the expertise of the Gilgit-Baltistan Police, added Justice Ali Baig.
IG Police Gilgit-Baltistan Muhammad Saeed Wazir lauded the services of the GB Police in collaboration with the ‘Law is my protector’ for facilitating quick access to justice for victims.
