FWMC vets cleanliness measures

The meeting of the Human Resource Committee of the Board of Directors of Faisalabad Waste Management Company was held at the FWMC Complex.

Deputy Commissioner / Chairman Board of Directors Muhammad Ali presided over the meeting.

During the meeting matters related to the provision of sanitary services in new areas were discussed while approval was also given to impose sanitation charges in these areas.

During the meeting, it was decided to continue action against those dumping garbage in residential and commercial areas.

He also directed to run a public awareness campaign on standard sanitation, usage etiquette in public toilets, water conservation and sanitation.

CEO Kashif Raza Awan, GM Operations Col (retd) Emad Gill, Dr. Shafaqat Gill, Muzammil Sultan and other members were also present in the meeting.

Deputy Commissioner said that further steps should be taken to raise the standard of cleanliness in the city so that the city looks clean and beautiful in all respects as per the expectations of the citizens.

He also reviewed the quality of cleanliness in the complex and said that strict implementation of Corona SOPs should be ensured.

The CEO reiterated his commitment and said that the best services would be provided to citizens.
