A four-year-old girl was raped in Alipur Tehsil of district Muzaffargarh who was admitted to the District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital in a critical condition.
The police have lodged an FIR against the accused and medical report of the girls also confirmed the rape incident. However, the rapist is still at large and police teams are conducting raids to nab him.
According to sources, mother of the victim girl Paitam Aleeza has been pressurised by influential persons to take back the FIR and not to peruse the legal battle.
They claimed that the local influential persons have offered a piece of land if the mother of the girl takes back the rape case.
Medical reports have confirmed the rape of the four-year-old minor girl. Meanwhile, the IG Police has taken notice of the incident and sought a report from the Dera Ghazi Khan Regional Police Officer (RPO).
Meanwhile, four persons died and two others critically injured in a road accident near Rahim Yar Khan.
The accident occurred in Kot Samaba area near Rahim Yar Khan where a speeding car rammed into a tractor-trolley, resultantly four persons died on the spot while two other sustained injuries.
