Forman Christian College (A Chartered University) hosted the Computer Science Senior Project Exhibition (COMSPEX) and Open House, organized by the Department of Computer Science. The event showcased senior projects aligning with Pakistan’s SDGs.
Projects included AI-driven traffic management, advanced cybersecurity solutions, assistive technologies for differently-abled individuals, and IoT innovations. Distinguished guests included Mr. YasirRizwan (CTO, TKXEL), Mr. JawadArif (SVP, Devsinc), Mr. AmmarSaqib (Head of Engineering, Venturenox), Mr. Jaffer Hussain (CEO, Venturenox), and Mr. Masood Butt (Group Head of HR, Khazana Enterprises).
The Best Senior Project in the Applications Category was awarded to Omair Ahmad, SaadYasin, and Ahmad Tariq for their project “IntelliRoads: Next-Gen Traffic Management System,” supervised by Dr. Muhammad HaroonShakeel. In the Research Category, the Best Senior Project award went to SaadMuzzafar, MuhibNadeem, and Yamna Hassan for their project “B-NIAS: Bi-directional Neural-Interfaced Automaton Symbiosis,” supervised by Ms. AsmaBasharat. The Best Poster Award was presented to Hamza Ahmed, SubhanWasif, and MaheenKhurram for their project “Thought Visualization using LLMs.”
Guests praised the projects, highlighting the high standards of education at FCCU. Dr. Jonathan Addleton, Rector FCCU commended the students’ innovation and emphasized the event’s role in bridging academia and industry. He added that Forman always remains dedicated to fostering innovation and excellence in the field of education.
