LAHORE – A huge reduction of Rs500 to Rs600 has been recorded in the price of a 10-kilogram flour bag across Punjab.
It was informed at a high-level meeting held at Punjab Food Department with Food Minister Bilal Yasin in the chair. In Lahore division, a 10-kg flour bag is available at Rs800. A 10-kg flour bag is being sold at Rs830 in Faisalabad division, Rs800 in Sargodha division and at Rs820 in Sahiwal division.
In Gujarat division, a 10-kg bag flour bag is available at Rs850. Similarly, it is being sold at Rs860 in Dera Ghazi Khan division and at Rs870 in Bahawalpur division while in Gujranwala, Rawalpindi and Multan divisions, a bag of 10-kg flour is available at Rs 900.

At the meeting, Bilal Yasin said that considerable reduction in prices of flour was a big relief for the common man. He said that prices of roti and naan have also been reduced due to decrease in flour price. “The administration is ensuring the availability of roti and naan at the notified prices across Punjab”, he said.
