A vigilant factory guard in Karachi’s Ahsanabad area successfully thwarted a robbery attempt by four armed men on Saturday. The robbers attempted to force their way into the factory, but the guard’s resistance caused them to flee.
In retaliation, the enraged robbers fired shots at the watchman before escaping the scene. The police, alerted by the incident, immediately pursued the fleeing suspects and managed to apprehend one of the robbers, who was injured during the chase. However, the remaining three suspects managed to evade capture.
DSP Sohrab Goth confirmed that the arrested suspect confessed during questioning that the gang had targeted the factory after learning that employee salaries were scheduled for distribution that day.
A police investigation is ongoing as efforts to locate the remaining robbers continue. The factory guard’s bravery in the face of danger and the swift action by law enforcement played a crucial role in preventing a potentially significant robbery.
