Experts for avoiding junk food after Ramazan

Health experts have advised people to avoid junk foods, hot chilli and spicy foods after Ramazan, particularly on Eid days.

Talking on “simple diet is better for health”, LGH Assistant Professor of Medicine Dr Muhammad Maqsood and Gynecologist Dr Laila Shafiq advised the citizens about the preventive measures and said that after Ramazan, hard foods should not be consumed because human stomach becomes sensitive after a month of fasting, so do not suddenly burden the stomach on the occasion of Eidul Fitr.

They said junk foods, hot chilli and spicy foods should be avoided. We should eat in moderation, especially patients of diabetes, blood pressure, heart disease and stomach that can affect the body system.

They advised to avoid junk food, use more fruits and vegetables.

Doctors said on Eidul Fitr caution should be taken in the use of cold drinks with food, and avoid the use of cold water and ice more than necessary. They asked the citizens to make exercise routine so that they can be protected from the diseases.
